Franco Farinelli

Franco Farinelli is Professor of Geography at the Department of Philosophy and Communication at the University of Bologna, and former president of the Association of Italian Geographers (Agei). He has taught at the Universities of Geneva, Los Angeles (UCLA), Berkeley, and in Paris at the Sorbonne and the École Normale Supérieure. Among his books: Geografia and Crisi della ragione cartografica, both published by Einaudi. He edited the new Italian edition of Travels to the Equinoctial Regions by A. von Humboldt.
